My Blogger.com bias

Although there are many others ways to start a blog, on this model blog for pastors, I'm going to have a bias towards using the Blogger.com platform.

I recommend that pastors use Blogger.com for their blogging platform for a number of reasons. They are really simple reasons:
  • It's easy -- Blogger's Help section is a great help, but, there are probably a 100 more good tutorial sites and million or so users to ask
  • It's cheap -- free is a great deal, I think, don't you?
  • It's flexible -- I've used it for two years, helped a couple others get started, and with
  • It's getting better and better -- with the latest changes from Blogger, like adding "labels," I'm liking Blogger more and more
  • Google owns it -- logically, I gotta think it's nice being on one of the best search engine on the planet
  • I use it myself -- and thus, know it better and can help others to start blogging with it faster; this is probably the best reason I have, and why I'm a little biased; I guess you go with what you know!
There are probably other good reasons too ... and probably really good reasons why NOT to use Blogger, but getting this bias out of the way and upfront will help me with writing the future posts and you, for reading them.
